Long story short, I messaged them to end my account and billing, and they said they would. But they’re still billing me monthly. Scam. Don’t use. Also their masters lower the quality of your music very badly. Made everything glitchy to the point I can’t play them.

There’s this site called emastered and long story short they have this money back guarantee policy so if you don’t like their service you can request membership cancelation, which I did. They told me the membership was canceled when I asked, fast forward 2 months they’ve been charging me monthly 27.99 usd and when I realized they were I filed a dispute, also I have screen shots of them saying the membership was canceled on 12/14/18 but PayPal is requesting more information from me now asking for the billing agreement where can I find this billing agreement I feel like I’ve provided all the evidence in the world with the screen shots etc, also emastered stops responding to me when I bring up the refund, they blocked my ability to online chat with them from the site, just very shady business I just want to be done with. What do I do

The service was not up to what they claim on the website. I cancelled within 14 days and they don’t wanna refund my money. I only mastered one track not 4. Stay away from deceptive company like this one.

Ridiculous company, got my money back as a "one time courtesy". But before that I was blamed for their shitty service. Smith told me I didn´t follow the guidelines which funny because there is not really a lot to do wrong on the interface. It is worth spending about 100€ on a professional mastering. An algorythm can not make such judgements as a human with profession ears. I strongly suggest you to tell them that you will contact the authorities, regarding their business as what they do is a scam, and in addition false marketing and if you do no receive your money back within 14 work days, you will take legal steps towards them . That is what I did, and it worked for me. Good Luck

Just felt it's time I updated this review. I honestly did not expect to get this much attention and comments from this.

I just didn't have as much time to update due to my personal life with work. Since the time of this original review after I had got issued a new card, I've stopped being charged from the site. Although judging by the new reviews, it appears that Smith still has not yet resolved this issue or gone about changing the annual pricing from the monthly plans ever since revisiting the site. The only thing different is the pricing cost on plans such as the Advanced Pro and Plus.So my advice to anyone who's still also experiencing the same issue is to just get a new card.

Because it won't let you remove your credit or debit card from your account. If you've used PayPal as your payment method then file a dispute to get a refund so PayPal can also block any more future charges. After you do that, once your subscription is over it will automatically decline the card since that's the only saved in their system. The only thing Smith can do at that point is to try emailing you to ask if you can update your payment method on file or he'll give you some sort of discount as his way of bribing you.

He has already lost.But I'm sure as *** not going back after my experience. Hopefully at least, for now, the more reviews that are being posted about this site, the more the exposure about this fraud company as people will become informed before they make another purchase from this site as I did.

DO NOT USE - FRAUDULENT AND DECEPTIVE PRACTICES I joined eMastered on a one month, one-off plan, and used their service to master one track. The results were okay but nothing I felt I couldn't achieve myself, so I asked for my promised 'no questions asked' refund. They proceeded to ask numerous questions via email and forms, attempting to force explanations out of you and create opportunities for them to convince you to stay. They then promised to cancel my plan and not charge me anything else, ignoring my request for the advertised 'no questions asked refund'. After numerous emails requesting the refund, I am still without it. They now claim to have processed it and have directed me to contact my bank but, when I asked to see a receipt proving they have made the payment, they stopped answering my emails. DO NOT USE

The other reviewers are correct. I thought I would try it out for $15 a month to see if I like it. It says "CANCEL AT ANY TIME".... "NO QUESTIONS ASKED". As soon as I clicked the monthly $15 option, my credit card (PayPal) was charged $180.00. I then tried the mastering service on 4 separate songs and after comparing them to the originals, I didn't notice any difference in the quality of the songs. I decided that this program would not be worth it for me so I decided to cancel my subscription. The next day, when I pulled up my account, I found out the ONLY way to get support is to do their chat box with "SMITH". I said that I wanted to cancel my account. He asked why. (No questions asked). I told him I didn't see the difference in my songs after using the service. He told me that I couldn't cancel. (Cancel at any time). He said that I should have tried out the service with "LESS than 4 songs" and that the $15 a month charge was only that good if you bought a year subscription. I told him to please charge me for the 4 songs and end this. He said I could keep the $180 program or get charged $39 for a monthly fee. I just wanted to end this so I chose the $39 monthly fee. He said I would get my $141 refund within 5 - 7 business days. Of course, it never came and and now 25 days later, I have called PayPal (where the transaction happened) and they have refunded my $141.00. PayPal has also assured me that Emastered is blocked from ever charging me again. PayPal is my hero. They have been wonderful to deal with.

They are a scam! Do not buy anything from them! They will not cancel your registration if not satisfied....

Pure bad reviews with you guys. They send me an email accusing me of sharing my account! Then they said they want it to speak to me before they investigate so i gave them my number, some how they knew they fuck up... so know they dont answer any messages. I want my money back!!!

BEWARE Of Emastered. They steal your money if you cancel. I have a huge email chain I can provide anyone. The email is between me and their main rep. I asked if I could cancel my yearly membership’s auto renew. When I asked this I was told they would keep my money for the year and cancel me entirely. I still had 9 months left on my yearly I had paid for. They canceled my 9 months without asking after and Im out nearly 200 dollars. Ive been working trying to see if I can get it back since they shouldn’t steal my remaining 9 months. here is what I recieved…

Annual Plus and Annual Professional accounts are billed immediately and are not refundable. IN THE CASE OF A CANCELLATION OR DOWNGRADE OF A Professional OR Plus PLAN NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED FOR PARTIAL YEARS OR PARTIAL MONTHS. You may cancel your Plus or Professional accounts at any time however, and the cancellation will be instant.

This does not tell you you can’t cancel autopay without loosing all of your money and months you paid for.

Long story short…. If you want to use online mastering use LANDR or any other. LANDR is chosen in blind tests with real Mastering engineers about 80% over eMastered. LANDR is only chosen 4% less than a professional master engineer in a blind test.

Don’t get the company (remastered) with worse results, same price, horrible customer service, and will steal your money should you decide they shouldn’t auto charge your card. BTW they charge your card nearly a month in advance so if you cancel you lose a month you paid for.

LANDR has no penalties to cancel and you get the rest of the time you paid for without them sending vindictive emails.

Ozone 8 is also chosen far more often then eMastered mixes are. Plus you can rent to own through Splice or Sweetwater for cheaper than eMaster will charge you for an inferior product with the added plus of not being stolen from when you realize Ozone or LANDR get much better results.

A week ago I came across a website called emastered.com. It offers online mixing and mastering of music for its customers. There's an option to try out the program on the home page for free, and listen to a sample of the newly mastered version of the song you submitted. I decided to purchase one of the deals on this website. The deal I agreed to is described on the website as the "$15/month Professional" plan. I purchased this deal and began to use the program only to find out I wasn't happy with the results. So, I then cancelled my subscription to the plan. A few days later I was notified that my bank account had been overdrawn because of a loss of $180. I come to find out that this transaction was from the e-mastered website. I go to check the website to find out that there's a small fine print under the $15/month deal that reads "$180 billed annually". This website offers an online chat that connects you to someone that does customer service for the online product. I ask this system why the deal says "$15/month" in big bold print if they're just going to take $180 instead? Why not have the deal just say "$180/year". The person in customer service said that the deal was presented in such fashion to show how much money I would be saving compared to the other deals the website offered. Even though I cancelled my subscription to the site and cancelled my card I was told that I would not be able to receive a refund because I have used the program more than the allowed limit in order to receive a refund (which I am aware of and don't have an issue with). But, I'm not expecting a refund for that reason. I want a refund because of the purposely misleading titles of the offers on this site. I've even read other complaints online about this company for the same reasons as what I've experience with them and now I know that I'm not alone.

eMastered is a SCAM! They lure people in to pay for an annual plan, offer a 14 day satisfaction guarantee and do not fulfill their end of the deal. I tried mastering with these guys, and after going through 3 tracks, they all sounded horrible. I asked for a refund and to cancel the subscription within the 14 day period. They then proceeded to continue charging me a monthly payment. I would never recommend eMastered or their services and their client service is dodgy at best. I have never dealt with a poorly run company which is out there to prey on unsuspecting people. The Universe always has a way to balance itself out.
